*Have you Earned Your Tomorrow*

Is anybody happier because you passed his way?
Does anyone remember that you spoke to him today?
This day is almost over, and its toiling time is through;
Is there anyone to utter now a kindly word of you?

Did you give a cheerful greeting to the friend who came along?
Or a churlish sort of "Howdy" and then vanish in the throng?
Were you selfish pure and simple as you rushed along the way,
Or is someone mighty grateful for a deed you did today?

Can you say tonight, in parting with the day that's slipping fast,
That you helped a single brother of the many that you passed?
Is a single heart rejoicing over what you did or said;
Does a man whose hopes were fading now with courage look ahead?

Did you waste the day, or lose it, was it well or sorely spent?
Did you leave a trail of kindness or a scar of discontent?
As you close your eyes in slumber do you think that God would say,
You have earned one more tomorrow by the work you did today?

Doctor, what about my pup ?

I said: Hope your puppy has missed you too!!

From Wahab Khan

Recommedations from *Psychologists*.

*1*. Isolate yourself from news about the virus. (Everything we need to know, we already know).

*2*. Don't look out for death toll. It's not a cricket match to know the latest score. Avoid that.

*3*. Don't look for additional information on the Internet, it would weaken your mental state.

*4*.Avoid sending fatalistic messages. Some people don't have the same mental strength as you (Instead of helping, you could activate pathologies such as depression).

*5*. If possible, listen to music at home at a pleasant volume. Look for board games to entertain children, tell stories and future plans.

*6*. Maintain discipline in the home by washing your hands, putting up a sign or alarm for everyone in the house.

*7*. Your positive mood will help protect your immune system, while negative thoughts have been shown to depress your immune system and make it weak against viruses.

*8*. Most importantly, firmly believe that this shall also pass and we will be safe.... !

 *Stay positive...Stay safe.* 🙏🏻🌹

story writing۔ The End of Lies

The End of Lies

A shepherd lived in a village called Sonapur. He used to take his cows and his sheep to pasture in the forest every day. The shepherd was good at heart, but he had a bad habit of lying and laughing. Once he took his animals and went into the forest.

He was a wicked man, and he started to shout loudly. Help me! lion came . As soon as he heard his voice, the farmers and labourers in the nearby field ran to his help and he laughed loudly. All counseled him not to lie like this, and they all returned to him with a heart full of bad. Thus the shepherd disturbed the people 2,3 times, and everyone knew his bad habit.

A few days later, a lion came in, and the shepherd was very nervous and started to run away. Hearing his voice, people thought he was always joking. No one came to help him, and the lion was beaten by a shepherd cow. The shepherd kept crying.

Mora: Lying is a bad habit

Expand the theme "There is no Short Cut to Success"

There is  no  Short  Cut  to  Success

Success in  all our endeavors is what we all want but,  most of  us forget that for reaching success, the  road is not  strewn  with roses. The  walk is not a  cakewalk, nor is it a gift on a platter.  Success is an achievement by  constant diligence  and  most of  us fail to achieve because  most of  us lack the  essential quality  of  diligence. The  magic of  hard work and perseverance cannot be underestimated.  We  see in general that  people  who have succeeded in  life have done  an immense amount of  hard work and their success  is we all see, but the effort put in, we fail to  measure.  We do wonder how he could achieve so  much, but it is absolutely  certain  that achievement has come his way  after  much of  continued  effort. Most of  us do  make  efforts but, soon lose heart and leave  our projects and this is why  we fail to reach the  pinnacle of success. It  mu st be  clear in our  minds that, we  never can achieve with  just a simple raising of  a finger, we  have got to  put our  heart and soul  in a particular job and that also with continued vigour in every  attempt  then only  we  can hope  for any  success. Those of  us wh o leave  effort midway  are obviously  left  midway  by  success also,  and then we are  disheartened and broke, just to ogle jealously  at those  who have succeeded. If  we have  the confidence in our  effort, there is nothing that can deter us from  achieving.

History  presents to us several examples of  achievers whose  achievements were due to  the single  magic of  the labour  they  put in their project. For example, Tenzing Norgay  could  achieve world fame,  only  after  making dozens  of  unsuccessful efforts at conquering  the Mt. Everest. India  could achieve  its goal  of  achieving independence from  British regime  only  because of  continued effort and sacrifice of our leaders,  like Mahatma  Gandhi  and others  of  the generation. Ever  since 1856, which saw  the first war of  independence for India, a continued effort of  more than a century, we finally  achieved our objective in the  year 1947.  If  this century’s effort was not there, the position  of  India would have  been quite different and our history  would have been somethi ng else. This shows that continuous effort can even  change the course of  history  of  a nation than  what about smaller achievements  of  an individual. Even after seeing that effort is the  magic wand  for all achievements, some people  still hold the view that, at least some people in  the  world do get whatever  they  want without  much effort. This  may  be  true in the case of  a very  few who  may  have been born with  silver spoons  in their  mouths’ but, by  and large,  all others  whom  we  see on the pedestal  of  success  are there only  after hard labour.  We have not  seen them working but we are  able to notice them  only  when they  reach certain  heights. On the other hand,  there  may  be so  many  who  might  have fallen on the way,  and this  must certainly  have been because there was l ess  strength in their effort. Success is  mostly not God sent it is  mostly  a  reward God gives for hard work. Those who put in constant labour towards an end,  surely  achieve a position of  great advantage.  It  is of  course always an uphill task to  improve pros pects.

Let us see right from  childhood, those children  who work  hard and constantly  and regularly  are always  the ones to stand first.  We do  often admire or  feel jealous of  people rising, but we fail to see  what extra effort they  are  puttin g in to improve their prospects. Those who sit pretty  and just complain about  the success  of others are never the ones to do  much in life. Those who  make continuous effort in the right direction rarely  lose in the struggle of  life. One important password f or all of  us to follow is that, there is no short  cut to success, the road to success is  thorny  and  very long. Those who dare to cross this road and undertake the  tedious  journey  with  a continuous  effort always  find leisure at the end.

Composition on the topic of "Life in an Indian village"

                   Life in an Indian village

The day dawned clear and bright. I awoke, happy and excited. That day, I was to go to Lohegaon on a camp as a part of the NCC training . Lohegaon is a small village on the outskirts of Pune .30 of us , cadets , met at the ST bus stand . A midst great hustle and bustle , bags of vegetables and all that cluttered the passage . Only a few found seats of sit . I noticed the villagers staring at us with frank curiosity  may be it was our uniform that caught to one with hills and greenery all around . To pass time we sang songs , cracked jokes and made a lot of din . Before we realize we had reached our destination , the journey was over.

We looked around and found a good place  to camp , a  small distance away from the village proper , and set up our tents . All the time a look of  village urchins was following us.  A few brave once even darter in and out of the tents giggling amongst themselves.

After a wash and snack we went to meet the village sarpanch  . Dada kamble , the sarpanch , welcomed us and entertained us to a lovely feast of ' bajre ki roti' , 'dal' and fresh fruit . He then took us around the village . Huts made of mud and straw were found all around. A few one storeyed dwellings were also there , with cows and buffaloes kept on ground floor. Back at the camp, as we rest for the night

Next day we a awoke to the sound of the village cock. The chief occupation of the villagers was agriculture. A number of crops were grown and sold in the cities . I was delighted to see tube wells , sprinklers and fertilizers being used by the farmers. Truly , the villagers were progressing towards a good future. The women helped during the harvesting of the crops. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Then it was time for us to leave. The week had passed do quickly. All left with a heavy heart but full of rich and varied impressions. The simple free loving nature of the villagers and their hospitality really captured our hearts. Gandhi has rightly said," Indian lives in its villages." Trut the camp was an experienced that left an indelible mark on my mind.

The value of time composition in English

       The Value Of Time

Human life is short. We have much to do. Even in
this short time , we cannot do what we want to do as there are many obstacles standing in our way. As such , we should always try to do the right thing at the right moment if we want to succeed in life.

Time , it is said , waits for none . Health may be recouped if it is lost; money may be regained if it is lost; but time once is lost for ever . It never come back. So we can understand how valuable time is ! If we can utilize it properly we can derive many benefits.if we waste time b, we shall not be able to succeed in life.

Time is not only money , it is good luck also . It brings in opportunity which rarely comes in our life . If we fail to make the best use of it , we are ruined for ever.

A punctual man is he who knows the right use of time . He ever lags behind ; he strikes the iron while it is hot. He therefore, never complains for shortage of time

The people who are idle , suffer most. They are always in want of time to do anything. They are late for everything. Such people are worthless.
They not only ruin themselves but also do positive
harm to society.

It is, therefore, of utmost necessity that we should know proper use of time. We should never be victims of procrastination, but masters of time. Every moment of life has spent in useful activities. Idleness ruins life while active life brings success to life. A student who does not prepare his lessons in time, always lags behind others , a worker who cannot work in time can never complete his work. So every should understand the value of time and spend every moment in useful work. This is the secret of success.
